Notification emails

Fillwell sends a small number of emails, all to one address per store. You set that address, and switch the weekly digest on or off, on your account page.

How to change the address or turn emails off

Click Account in the app menu, then open the Settings tab.
Under Notifications, edit Email address. Clear the field to stop every email.
To stop only the weekly email, turn off the Weekly digest switch.
Click Save in the bar that appears. You will see Settings saved.

Store scan ready

Subject: Your store scan is ready. Sent once, about 36 hours after install, and only if you have not saved any changes with Fillwell yet. Fillwell scans the store again first and sends nothing if there is nothing to fix.

Job finished

Sent when a bulk run ( Bulk fill & save or Save all) ends. There are three versions:

Your Fillwell job finished, followed by the number of changes applied. It notes any products that could not be saved.
Your Fillwell job was stopped. The run stopped part-way because the free plan ran out of AI credits, or a paid plan reached its spending limit for extra AI credits.
Your Fillwell job did not finish. The run hit a problem.

Weekly digest

Subject: [Weekly Update] We found some fixes for your store. Sent once a week at 6 AM in your store's timezone, starting about seven days after install. It lists what still needs attention, one line per kind of fix, with an Open Fillwell button.

Good to know

The address starts as your store's contact email, read from Shopify when you install. The Weekly digest switch starts on.
The Weekly digest switch only affects the weekly email. Job emails and the store scan email cannot be switched off one by one. To stop them, clear the address.
An address that is not valid shows Enter a valid email address. and nothing is saved.
Job emails cover bulk runs only. Saving a single page and undoing a run never send one.
No job email is sent if the job's page was open when the run ended, even in a background tab. A stopped run that saved nothing sends no email either.
The weekly digest is skipped in any week when nothing is left to fix. Fixes you have hidden are not counted.
