Setting title, vendor or product type
Set title, vendor or product type is a custom job that writes one of a product's built-in fields across many products. You can apply one fixed value, or have the AI write a value for each product. It covers Title, Vendor and Product type, and it needs a paid plan.
How to set a title, vendor or product type
- Open Build a custom job and click Next on Set title, vendor or product type.
- Under Which property do you want to set?, tick one property and click Next →.
- Choose the products in the filter bar and click Apply. The table shows each product's current value, 25 products per page.
- Set Mode. Manual applies one value to every product: set the value, then click Fill all. AI writes a value for each product from the Sources you tick (by default the title, description, product type and vendor) and any AI guidance you add.
- In AI mode, click Fill & review. Blank rows are filled first. When no row is blank, the same action is under More actions as Refill this page.
- Check the rows. Type into a row to change it, or click Reset to drop the new value.
- Click Save this page. Saved rows show a Processed badge. Go to the next page and repeat.
Good to know
- There is no whole-catalogue run for this job. You fill and save one page at a time.
- In the filter bar, Title has only the condition "is", which matches the whole title. Vendor and Product type have "is" and "is not", and you tick the values from your store's own list. To find products by a word, type it in the Search and filter box.
- For Vendor, the AI only uses a brand name it finds in the product's details. If it finds none, the row stays empty.
- On a Title row in AI mode, the row's editor has a Prompt for this product box. Add a note there and click Fill to write that one title again.
- Filling is free. AI credits are charged when you save a value the AI wrote. A value you typed costs no credits. If your credits do not cover the page, you see Not enough AI credits to save all requested values.
- After a save, the toast offers View to open the run's report. The report has a link back to the page, for example "Back to Set Vendor".
- Your last filter, mode, value and guidance are remembered for each property, so settings for Vendor do not carry over to Title.
